Business Analogue Features

Call Diversion

Divert your calls to another number; either when your line is busy or your not there to answer. Calls can be diverted anywhere in the UK, most overseas destinations or to a mobile phone.

Call Waiting

Call Waiting notifies you that someone else is calling. It is possible to finish your original call, swap between calls or continue with your current call, advising the new caller to ring back later.

How do I set up call waiting?

  • To set up dial * 4 3 #
  • To switch off # 4 3 #
  • To switch between calls press RECALL then 2 to speak to the second speaker. To return to the first caller press RECALL and 1. (The telephone should have a RECALL button or similar).

Incoming Call Barring

Restrict calls to national, international or premium rate numbers. You can also bar incoming calls so the line is always available for outgoing calls.

Reminder Call

Use your phone as an alarm clock by setting it to call you at specified times.

How do I set up reminder call :

  • To set up a call dial * 5 5 * (insert time eg 1730) #
  • To cancel a call dial # 5 5 #
  • To check a call dial * # 5 5 #
  • To set a regular reminder call (system X exchanges only)
    • dial * 5 6 * (insert time eg. 1730) # (insert day code) #
    • to cancel dial # 5 6 #
    • to check dial * # 5 6 #

Day codes: Monday: 1, Tuesday: 2, Wednesday: 3, Thursday: 4, Friday: 5, Saturday: 6, Sunday: 7, Monday to Friday: 8, Every Day: 9.

Ring Back

Fed up listening to engaged tones? The Ring Back feature will keep trying the number for you, so you don't have to.

How do I set up a ring back

  • To set up a ring back dial 5 when you hear the engaged tone
  • To cancel a ringback dial # 3 7#

Three Way Calling

Speak to two other people at the same time, even if one is abroad. You can include or exclude either person at anytime during the call.

How do I set up a three way call

  • To set up a three way call:
    • dial first number * RECALL
    • wait for the tone then dial second number * RECALL 3
  • To talk to two callers separately, press 2 instead of 3 when the second call answers. If you want to switch between the two callers, press RECALL, wait for the dial tone, then press 2.
  • To end the call just hang up
  • To end first call only press RECALL, wait for dial tone and dial 5
  • To end second call only press RECALL, wait for dial tone and dial 7

Call Sign

Allows you to have two different phone numbers on a single line, each with different ring tones, so you'll know which number was dialled. Particularly useful if you occasionally work from home and want to differentiate between personal and business calls.

Caller Display

Lets you know who is calling. Can be used to screen calls and help you tailor responses to customers.

Call Return (1471)

Find out who called you last and have the option to call them back.

How do I use call return:

  • Dial 1471 and the message will tell you the number of your last caller and when the call was made.
  • To call the number back dial 3.
  • The call will cost the normal amount for a call to that number

1471 Erasure

Over-ride the last number stored and replace with a standard 'number withheld message'.

How do I use 1471 erasure:

  • To erase the last call stored in 1471 dial 1475, wait to hear a Number Unobtainable tone or a message advising "The caller has hung up". On replacing the handset, the phone will emit one ring to confirm the erasure has been completed.

Number Withholding and use of 141/1470

Prevent your phone number being released to whoever you are calling, this can be done per call or for all calls from your number.

How do I withhold my number:

  • Per call: dial 141 before each call.
  • Per line: this option must be requested from Supanet
  • If your phone line is set to withhold your number all the time, than you can release your number on a per call basis by dialling 1470 before each call.

Prevent the option of withholding of your phone number.

Call Messaging

Enables callers to leave messages if you can't answer their call, stores up to 30 messages. Make it personal and record your own greeting message. Call Messaging can be accessed remotely to retrieve messages or change service options.

How do I access messages:

  • Dial 1571 where you will be advised of the number of new and saved messages you have.
  • Press 1 to listen to messages, press 2 for personal options or press 4 for missed calls. Personal options allows you to change options such as the number of rings before answer, personal greetings and your PIN. (For security the PIN can only be changed from your main phone).
  • After reviewing any messages you can press 0 to return the call, press 1 to listen again, press 2 to save or skip or 3 to delete a message.
  • After pressing 0 to return a call, you may press # at any time to terminate the returned call and be returned to the Message Review menu.
  • To access your messages from another phone dial your own phone number. Upon hearing the Call Messaging greeting enter your PIN.

Call Messaging Extensions

Call Messaging Extensions offers allows you to set up between 3 and 9 mailboxes, these can be assigned to individual family members or business partners etc. Each mailbox features the ability to skip forward and backward through stored messages

Call Messaging Premier

Record separate greetings advising whether you're engaged on another call, away for sometime or just unable to answer at that time. This service also stores fax messages, which can then be downloaded remotely from a fax enabled line. Call Messaging Premier allows you to choose between 5 and 9 mailboxes and utulise all the features of Call Messaging ane Call Messaging Extensions.

1571

A standard message that diverts incoming calls when there is no reply, to a voice bank where the caller can leave a message. Messages can only be accessed from your phone.

How do I access my messages:

  • Dial 1571, you will then be advised the number of new and saved messages you have stored.
  • After reviewing each message you will be able to press 0 to return the call, press 1 to listen again, press 2 to save or skip or press 3 to delete a message.

Smart Divert (Remote Divert)

Remotely activate and control the call divert feature. Calls can be diverted anywhere in the UK, most overseas destinations and mobile phones. The system is accessed using an access number and PIN.

How do I operate smart divert

  • To activate or cease smart divert you must contact Supanet
  • Divert codes for smart divert remote control are:
    • All calls - 44
    • Calls not answered in 15 seconds - 64
    • Calls if your phone is engaged - 65
  • To divert calls:
    • dial access number and wait for dial tone
    • enter 'divert code' from above list
    • enter PIN*
    • your full phone number (Inc.STD)*
    • enter phone number to divert to # (Inc. STD)
  • To cancel smart divert:
    • dial access number and wait for dial tone
    • enter # (divert code)*
    • enter PIN*
    • enter your full phone number #
  • To check smart divert:
    • dial access number and wait for dial tone
    • enter *#(divert code)*
    • enter PIN*
    • enter your full phone number #
  • Divert codes for smart divert from your own phone:
    • All calls - 21

Smart Divert with Bypass Number

Ensure selected callers can reach through to your main number even when you have divert switched on.

Remote Call Forward

Transfer incoming calls to a different location. Useful if you've moved to a different area code and don't wish to lose calls or if you wish to give the appearance of a local presence. The caller dials the advertised number and is automatically diverted to the final destination without any announcement.

Choose to Refuse

Lets you bar the telephone number of the last answered call.

How do I bar a telephone number:

  • To bar the last telephone number that called dial 14258. You will then be asked to press ** to confirm. Once confirmed that number will be barred and unable to call.
  • Other numbers can be barred at anytime by dialling 14258 followed by the PIN. Options available are:
    • Add a number to your list
    • Review your barred number list
    • Change your PIN
  • Up to 10 numbers can be stored, the 11th number to be stored will cause the oldest number to drop out of the list. An announcement will advise you when your list is full.

Anonymous Call Rejection (ACR)

Block all calls from people who have withheld their number.

How do I set up ACR?

  • To activate ACR dial *227#
  • To disable ACR dial #227#
  • To check the status of the service a customer will input the service code *#227#

Presentation number

Specify a telephone number for the Calling Line Identity (CLI) on outgoing calls, which may be different to the main number. Ideal for directing return calls to a more appropriate number eg. A central help desk.

Caller Redirect

Changed telephone numbers? Caller re-direct will inform incoming callers of your new phone number.
